Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Logistics/Transportation.
• Strong communication in Dutch and English, both oral and written.

Responsabilités

• Communicate with customers in a timely, professional, and proactive manner.
• Receive and manage customer shipments.
• Book shipments with subcontractors per policy and customer requirements.
• Follow up on shipments and update track & trace.
• Prepare and manage shipment documentation.
• Ensure profitability of the managed business activity.
• Follow product standards per Cluster & Regional Product Strategy.
• Optimize loading, carrier selection, and cost control on invoices.
• Handle correct and timely customer invoicing.

What’s the job about:

The Land Transport Operations Clerk is responsible for the daily management of the customer shipments, ensuring the high level of customer experience.

Main tasks:

• Responsible for timely, professional & pro-active communication with the customer;
• Receive and manage customer shipments;
• Manage bookings with the subcontractor, in accordance with the agreed subcontractor management policy & customer requirements;
• Follow-up on the shipment and update of track & trace;
• Manage appropriate shipment documentation;
• Assure good profitability of the managed business activity;
• Follow product standards as per Cluster & Regional Product Strategy;
• Responsible for maximizing the profit on regular business by optimization of the loading, appropriate & coordinated with management selection of the carriers and cost control on incoming invoices;
• Manage correct and timely customer invoicing.

Who are we looking for:

• Bachelor level;
• 2 years’ experience in Logistics/ Transportation industry;
• Effective communicator with good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Demonstrates good listening and negotiation skills;
