Job summary

MindCapture BV is seeking a proactive Lab Responsible to support Quality Control and Process Development in an innovative biotech setting. You will ensure compliance, manage documentation, and provide practical lab support across daily operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology (or related field) and at least 2 years of lab experience, with fluency in Dutch and English and a strong detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory operations, procedures and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a critical mindset towards documentation review and quality compliance.
• Accurate and precise approach to laboratory activities and administrative tasks.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong organisational skills and flexibility to manage activities across different departments.
• Experience with quality management systems, particularly cGMP, is an advantage.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update laboratory procedures within the document management system.
• Monitor stock levels of chemicals, laboratory materials and consumables.
• Follow up on preventive maintenance and calibration activities for laboratory equipment, including balances, incubators and pipettes.
• Perform internal maintenance and calibration checks when required, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Prepare culture media and basic laboratory solutions while maintaining complete preparation records.
• Review development records and associated study documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform incoming goods inspections for the GMP Quality Control laboratory and register ordered materials.
• Support quality compliance and documentation processes across Quality Control and Process Development activities.
• Collaborate closely with laboratory colleagues and management to ensure efficient daily operations.
