Job summary

ARCHIMED in Lyon, France, offers a 6-month internship in a leading global healthcare investment firm. You will support strategic initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams across Europe, and participate in governance discussions.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience (strategy consulting or Chief of Staff), a Master’s degree, and strong English communication. You will gain mentorship, direct HR process exposure, and hands-on project ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting or Chief of Staff positions.
• Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or equivalent.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to plan across multiple workstreams.
• Proven analytical skills, attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Excellent relationship, communication and presentation skills in English.
• Autonomous and proactive, able to operate with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio & strategic meetings: prepare and attend Management Committee / Partners meetings and portfolio management meetings.
• Project management: act as an enabler and project manager for cross-functional value creation initiatives.
• Analyses & presentation preparation: perform ad-hoc research and prepare documents for ARCHIMED’s strategy deployment.
• Prepare decks, synthesize minutes and participate in senior governance discussions.

• Professional backgrounds: Private Equity (3i,Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings,capiton), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC), Industry (Biotronik,Cerba, Pharmacy, Veterinary)

Your Role

Location: Lyon, France
Duration: 6 months
Start Date : ASAP

In a fast-paced environment, you will deliver on several strategic initiatives, including:

• Portfolio & strategic meetings: prepare and attend Management Committee / Partners meetings as well as portfolio management meetings, coordinating with various stakeholders to support continuous improvement and growth at ARCHIMED

• Project management: act as an enabler, key point of contact and project manager to ensure success of cross-functional initiatives related to value creation in ARCHIMED’s portfolio companies

• Analyses & presentation preparation: perform ad-hoc research, analyses or prepare documents to fuel ARCHIMED’s strategy design and deployment

• Demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years’ professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting or Chief of Staff positions

• Possess a Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or equivalent

• Strong project management and organizational skills: ability to plan, organize and prioritize work across multiple workstreams and stakeholders

• Proven analytical skills, attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Comfortable preparing decks, synthetizing minutes and conducting discussions in senior governance bodies

• Excellent relationship, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English

• Ability to work with sensitive, confidential information and exercise judgment accordingly

• Autonomous and proactive, able to operate with limited day-to-day supervision

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with a positive mindset

• Interest in private equity, value creation and AI
