Cyclops is looking for a Junior Project Manager - Engineer to coordinate investment projects across various sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. The role involves leading projects from design to completion, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned, and optimizing processes through continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should ideally possess a master's degree in engineering or related experience, be fluent in English and either Dutch or French, and demonstrate a proactive mindset in a dynamic environment.

About the role:

As a Junior Project Manager - Engineer, you will either support or lead projects across sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and manufacturing — ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• You coordinate and follow up on projects from the design phase through to final completion, ensuring a smooth and structured execution;
• You communicate effectively with all stakeholders—such as suppliers, operations, and maintenance teams—to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle;
• You proactively identify potential risks and take initiative to implement appropriate solutions;
• You regularly report on project progress and performance, keeping all relevant parties informed;
• You actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimize processes and enhance overall project delivery.

Who are you?

• Preferably, you hold a master’s degree in engineering, or a technical bachelor’s degree combined with relevant experience;
• Some first experience in a project environment is a plus;
• You show a proactive, hands‑on mindset with a strong sense of ownership, and you are able to stay resilient while delivering high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment;
• You have a strong attention to detail, a structured way of working, and the flexibility to travel within a reasonable distance to client sites;
• You are fluent in English and Dutch or French.
