Job summary

PwC Belgium is seeking a Junior Reward Consultant (personal income taxation) to join the Reward team within PwC’s Tax & Legal Services department, helping clients attract, motivate, and reward talent.

You will advise HR teams and remuneration committees locally and internationally, shaping reward strategies while collaborating with cross-border teams. A Bachelor in Accounting-Tax or related field is expected, with fluency in Dutch and strong English, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Accounting-Tax or Master’s in tax law, economics, business administration or related field.
• Second degree or focus in tax or compensation & benefits is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and good level of English; comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint; proficient with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Advise HR teams on reward strategies for top executives locally and internationally.
• Support remuneration committees with designing short- and long-term incentive plans and drafting reward policies.
• Provide advice on income tax and compensation structures to keep clients compliant and competitive.
• Help clients innovate rewards—from flexible benefits and mobility packages to cost calculations and payroll setup.
• Co-host client workshops to define tailored total reward strategies aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with tax authorities, manage audits and ruling applications; build a local and international PwC network.

Your impact

As a Junior Reward (personal income taxation) Consultant, you’ll be part of a dynamic team helping clients shape how they attract, motivate, and reward talent. You’ll:

• Advise HR teams on reward strategies for top executives — locally and internationally.
• Support remuneration committees with designing short- and long-term incentive plans, benchmarking packages, and drafting reward policies.
• Provide advice on income tax and compensation structures , ensuring clients stay compliant and competitive.
• Help clients innovate their approach to rewards — from flexible benefits and mobility packages to cost calculations, payroll setup, and tax returns.
• Co-host client workshops to define tailored total reward strategies that align with business goals.
• Collaborate with tax authorities — answering requests, managing audits, and handling ruling applications.
• Build a strong local and international network within PwC, and work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

About you

• You’re currently studying for or have just finished a Bachelor in Accounting-Tax , or a Master’s in tax law, economics, business administration , or any related field.
• A second degree or focus in tax or compensation & benefits is a plus.
• You’re genuinely interested in personal income tax, HR topics, and how pay strategies are built.
• You’re confident working with Excel and PowerPoint , and you know your way around Microsoft 365.
• You’re comfortable with numbers and love to analyse data.
• You’re a clear communicator, in writing and in presentations.
• You’re familiar with AI and prompting.
• You’re fluent in Dutch and have a solid level of English.
