PwC Legal in Belgium is seeking a Junior Accounting & Tax Consultant to join the Asset Management team. You’ll develop your accounting and tax expertise while gaining exposure to funds and financial services, under the guidance of experienced tax professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics, accounting, tax, or related field; up to 2 years experience.

• Familiarity with Excel and data tools; interest in automation.

Responsabilités

• Belgian tax data computation – support accurate Belgian tax figures for investment funds.
• Tax scoping & analysis – assess fund portfolios and applicable Belgian tax rules.
• Data management & interfaces – configure interfaces with fund administrators for data flows.
• Quality assurance & validation – data checks and tax figures validation for timely delivery.
• Continuous Learning – training and coaching to grow tax and accounting skills.

We’re looking for a Junior Accounting & Tax Consultant to join our Tax team as of October 2026, specifically within our Asset Management team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting and tax expertise while gaining valuable exposure to the investment fund industry and the financial services sector.

Your impact

• Belgian tax data computation – support the team in producing accurate Belgian tax figures for investment funds (SICAVs, mutual funds, private equity funds) distributed on the Belgian market.
• Tax scoping & analysis – contribute to analysing fund portfolios, assessing the tax treatment of investments, and determining the scope of applicable Belgian tax rules.
• Data management & interfaces – help configure and maintain automated data interfaces with fund administrators, ensuring smooth data flows for daily or periodic computations.
• Quality assurance & validation – participate in data checks, tax figures validation, and quality controls to guarantee accurate and timely delivery of results to clients and stakeholders.
• Continuous Learning – develop your skills through training, coaching, and working with the latest digital tools.

About you

• Degree – You’re finishing (or just finished) a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, tax, or a similar field — or you’ve got up to 2 years of experience.
• Team player – you like working with others and enjoy being part of a team, but you’re also happy to take responsibility and get things done yourself.
• Analytical mindset – you enjoy figuring things out, whether it’s tax rules, financial data, or regulatory frameworks — you like solving puzzles and understanding how things work.
• Communication skills – you’re good at listening and explaining, and you can talk to people clearly and respectfully.
• Curious & open-minded – you want to keep learning, especially as tax laws and technology evolve.
• Tech-savvy – you’re familiar with Excel and data tools; an interest in automation and digital solutions is a plus.
• Interest in AI & digital tools – you’ve played around with them, or at least you’re curious to learn how they can help with work.
• Languages – you speak French and English.
