BDO Belgium in Zaventem seeks a Junior Manager Accountancy to become the go-to financial expert for clients and colleagues, blending leadership with hands-on accounting work.

You will mentor juniors, build strong client relationships, deliver value through year-end closings, VAT optimisation, and financial reporting, and continue learning via BDO Academy. The role offers hybrid working with at least one remote day weekly and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics.
• 4-5 years of accounting experience with client management.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Here are some things we’re looking for in a Junior Manager Accountancy:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics
• 4-5 years of proven accounting experience with client management skills
• ITAA certification is a plus (we’ll support your journey)
• Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent communication skills; French is a plus
• Proactive, pragmatic team player with leadership potential
• Autonomous yet collaborative approach, managing complex projects while supporting colleagues
