Teamleader is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our cross-entity legal team within the Visma group. The role combines contract management, regulatory compliance, and strategic legal guidance across Teamleader and Yuki in a hybrid setup.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, support strategic projects, ensure GDPR compliance, and contribute to AI governance while supporting the legal team with corporate housekeeping and IP matters. Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LLB or equivalent law degree and be eligible to practice law in Belgium.
• Minimum 2 years of legal experience in Belgium or EU, ideally with SaaS/tech exposure.
• Strong GDPR knowledge; familiarity with NIS2, Data Act, AI Act is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across customer and vendor agreements, partnerships, DPAs, and service agreements.
• Provide legal support for strategic projects, including pricing, product changes, and AI integration.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and data protection activities.
• Oversee regulatory compliance beyond GDPR (NIS2, Data Act, AI Act, Belgian law) and translate into product/TOC changes.
• Manage disputes and pre-litigation matters end-to-end.
• Lead AI governance: assess vendors against policy, draft usage guidelines, advise on responsible deployment of AI features.
• Maintain existing legal processes and set up new processes for evolving needs.
• Oversee corporate housekeeping and respond to day-to-day legal inquiries.
• Manage intellectual property: trademark strategy, oppositions, and coordinating with external counsel.
