Collibra is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join our high-impact Legal team in Brussels. You will draft, negotiate, and close enterprise SaaS, software, and technology-related agreements that power Collibra's growth, providing critical legal and commercial support to Sales and Procurement while protecting the company from risk and compliance issues.

This hybrid Brussels role requires at least 3+ years in-house experience, a law degree and practice in EU/EEA (UK/US optional).

Qualifications

• 3+ years in-house commercial contracts counsel in software/tech industry.
• Law degree with qualification to practice in the EU/EEA, UK or US; Belgian bar not required.
• Fluent in English and French, with ability to draft and negotiate in both languages.
• Proficient with AI tools to optimize contracting workflows and risk assessment.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and data protection as applied to SaaS contracts.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise SaaS, software, and tech agreements including partnerships, resellers, supply and licensing.
• Manage the commercial contracting process to keep deals moving while protecting Collibra's interests.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, Security, and Procurement to drive transactions to close.
• Advise on structuring customer arrangements to support sound legal and business decisions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on related legal matters for Collibra's operations.
