Job summary

SWIFT is seeking engineers to design and develop secure, mission-critical financial systems. You will participate in testing, translate requirements into software solutions, and contribute to feasibility analyses while building robust technical documentation and operational procedures.

You will support delivered software and collaborate on problem-solving within a fast-paced team, with opportunities across global locations and modern tech stacks.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s degree is an asset.
• Initial Java development experience (Java 8+) via internships, projects or early roles.
• Basic understanding of unit testing and automation practices.
• Familiarity with fundamental software design principles.
• Experience with Spring Boot is a plus.
• Familiar with JPA, Hibernate.
• Knowledge of Angular and REST APIs is a plus.
• Familiar with UNIX OS, preferably RHEL.
• Knowledge of security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development of secure, mission critical and highly resilient financial systems
• Participate in the testing, from automated unit tests to automated system tests
• Analysis of technical and functional requirements and translate them into software solutions
• Contribute to technical analysis and feasibility assessments of proposed solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Support the delivered software and contribute to problem-solving activities within the team
