Xintas, a Belgian software firm in Antwerp, seeks a Software Engineer for the Daily Banking team. You will develop, maintain, and test Java backend services integral to payment processing and partner integrations, while advancing our Azure-based modernization with AKS and Terraform.

You will collaborate in an Agile SAFe environment, ensuring high-quality releases and continuous improvement through automation, testing, and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience in cloud environments, preferably Azure.

As a Software Engineer in our Daily Banking team, you play a key role in maintaining, developing, and testing Java backend services that are essential for our payment processing and that strongly integrate with external partners as well as internally developed applications. You are also actively involved in our ongoing modernization program, where we are migrating our application to a new cloud environment (Azure Kubernetes Service) using Terraform.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Architect and Functional Analyst to design a robust solution that fits within the existing landscape

Integrate with external systems such as Sopra and Worldline to ensure seamless transaction processing

Work within an Agile/Scrum team following the SAFe framework

Ensure quality by actively testing delivered code

Continuously improve the codebase and processes through code reviews, automation, and implementation of best practices
