Nitto Belgium in Genk is seeking a Junior IT/OT Engineer to contribute to digitalizing our production environment. The role combines IT, automation and cybersecurity at our large Genk site, with guidance from experienced colleagues and daily collaboration across IT, Engineering, Maintenance and Production.

Required: Master’s degree in a technical field and fluency in Dutch and English. On-site work in Genk with ample learning opportunities and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field as described.
• Strong interest in technology, automation and industrial environments.
• Exposure to networks, software, industrial systems, data or cybersecurity.
• Curious, analytical and quick to learn.
• Hands-on mentality with precise project execution.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; able to commute to Genk daily.

Responsabilités

• Support and further develop our IT/OT environment in production.
• Participate in digitalization, automation and Industry 4.0 projects.
• Work with industrial networks, production PCs, servers and data communication.
• Assist with SCADA, HMI and MES supporting production processes.
• Improve reliability, safety and cybersecurity of systems.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams.
