MindCapture is seeking a recent graduate in Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering to join our Brussels-area team as a field service consultant for high-tech diagnostic equipment in hospitals and laboratories. You will install, maintain and repair systems, travel regionally in Belgium and occasionally internationally, and work closely with healthcare professionals.

Fluent in French and Dutch with good English is required; a hands-on, patient-focused mindset is essential.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for delivering excellent post-sales support at customer sites - installing, maintaining, and repairing high-tech systems in hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare institutions. You'll ensure optimal equipment performance, directly impacting healthcare quality and outcomes.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain advanced laboratory equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, both on-site and remotely, ensuring rapid and effective solutions.
• Provide proactive advice on preventive maintenance and system optimization.
• Deliver professional customer service and build long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across technical and support teams.
• Travel regionally and occasionally internationally for training and technical meetings.

Requirements:

• You recently graduated (or will soon graduate) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Electromechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
• You live around Brussels, and are flexible to assist across Belgium when needed.
• You're a hands-on problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, real-world environments.
• You're customer-oriented and enjoy direct interaction with healthcare professionals.
• You are physically able to perform field service activities, including standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, working in confined spaces when required, and safely lifting and carrying equipment of up to 20 kg.
• You are fluent in French and Dutch and have a good command of English (technical documentation and training).
• Knowledge of IT/network infrastructure is a plus.
• You're open to working flexible hours and participating in an on-call rotation.
• You're eager to learn and grow within a supportive and innovative team.
