Comate Engineering & Design in Belgium is seeking a talented junior electrical design engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing innovative automation solutions, from concept to field deployment. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to create robust machinery and systems.

Responsibilities include designing electrical schematics in EPLAN, supporting PLC programming (TwinCAT or similar), performing wiring, testing I/O, and assisting with FAT/SAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Automation or similar field.
• First experience in automation is a plus.
• Good understanding of electrical control panels and reading schematics.
• Knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT or other PLC platforms.
• Hands-on and pragmatic with flexibility for changing plans.

Responsabilités

• Safety & technical analysis: define clear requirements with customers and select hardware.
• Electrical & automation engineering: create schematics in EPLAN and assist PLC programming.
• Machine commissioning: set up, configure and test industrial installations; support FAT/SAT delivery.
