Vivid Resourcing is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer in East Flanders, Belgium, to design bespoke machinery and integrated electromechanical systems. You will drive concepts through detailed mechanical design, prototyping and manufacturing support, collaborating with electrical and software engineers to realise complete machine solutions.

The role emphasizes robust mechanical design, manufacturability, and cost-conscious engineering, with exposure to mechatronics elements and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience designing machinery or industrial mechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Design mechanical components, assemblies and complete machine systems using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD.
• Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Create practical, manufacturable designs considering performance, reliability and cost.
• Support prototype builds, testing and validation activities.
• Collaborate with electrical, software and production teams to deliver complete machine solutions.
• Identify and implement design improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing teams on components and fabrication methods.
• Ensure designs meet engineering standards and safety requirements.
