Tessenderlo Group ICT is hiring a Junior AI & Data Analyst to join the ICT team and connect business needs with data and AI solutions. You will translate questions into data products, dashboards, prototypes, and AI-enabled solutions, working with data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to gain practical experience.

You will contribute to dashboards, data prep, and AI initiatives while learning across Azure data services, Databricks, Fabric, and other tools in a global, industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in ICT, data science, economics, business engineering, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Genuine interest in AI, data, and digital transformation, with a strong drive to translate business needs into concrete, technically feasible solutions.
• Initial practical experience in data analytics, AI, business analysis, data preparation, reporting, or process improvement from internships or first roles.
• Hands-on skills in at least one data/analytics tool such as Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure data services.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Actively scout and identify AI opportunities with business stakeholders across units.
• Structure use cases: describe problem, value, data needs, and technical approach.
• Support prioritization of AI initiatives and build business cases with IT stakeholders.
• Serve as a link between business and technical teams during proofs-of-concept and pilots.
• Follow up on AI/automation projects, gather feedback, scale pilots.
• Contribute to dashboards, reporting, and portfolio tracking to keep AI initiatives visible.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, prepare datasets, and translate data into insights.
• Build and maintain analytics solutions such as Power BI dashboards, SQL queries, Python notebooks, or data transformations.
• Support PoCs by configuring tools, testing outputs, and documenting assumptions.
• Support AI adoption and literacy across the organization.
