Harvey Nash in Aalst, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join a large-scale public-sector digitalisation programme. You will design, develop and modernise business-critical applications for data registration, validation and reporting, leveraging Java backend and Angular frontend.

The role covers analysis, development, testing and implementation of new functionalities, with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud/infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing Java-based applications.
• Certification or demonstrable experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies.
• Experience with JUnit and unit testing.
• Experience with Angular (versions 2–17).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Public Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing and/or preparing technical analyses and designs with the solution architecture.
• Developing functionalities based on specifications.
• Defining interfaces between layers of the architecture.
• Developing Spring Boot backend services and security components.
• Developing Angular SPAs (front-end).

• Developing unit tests with Test-Driven Development (TDD).

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will work on a large-scale digitalisation and modernisation programme within a complex public-sector environment. The role focuses on developing and modernising business-critical applications for data registration, validation and reporting, including the underlying integrations and data systems.

You will contribute to the analysis, development, testing and implementation of new functionalities within a complex Java environment and help further develop a future-oriented application landscape.
