Sloka IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong architecture experience to design, build, integrate, and support modern enterprise applications. This is an end-to-end role: you will contribute not only to development and solution design, but also to production maintenance after go-live.

You will work closely with customers and delivery teams, translating business goals into practical technical roadmaps and robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Java 8 or later.
• Spring Boot and microservices architecture experience.
• Experience designing and integrating REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Docker.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong architecture experience to help design, build, integrate, and support modern enterprise applications. This is an end-to-end role: you will contribute not only to development and solution design, but also to production maintenance after go-live.

You will work closely with customers and delivery teams, translating business goals into practical technical roadmaps and robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java 8 or later, Spring Boot, microservices, and web services.
• Define microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, SOAP integrations, and messaging solutions that connect disparate enterprise applications.
• Evaluate technologies and select appropriate tools and frameworks, including options such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Kafka.
• Support the modernization of legacy monolithic applications into distributed systems.
• Design solutions that meet non-functional requirements for high availability, security, fault tolerance, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, including implementation, deployment, go-live, and ongoing production support.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Use Git, Maven, Docker, and development environments such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA as part of day-to-day delivery.
• Perform architectural and technical reviews to maintain solution quality and alignment.
• Mentor senior developers and provide technical leadership across the team.
• Work directly with customers and stakeholders to clarify needs, explain technical decisions, and turn business objectives into executable plans.
• Collaborate effectively in an Agile delivery environment.

Qualifications:

• 10 or more years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Java 8 or later.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing and integrating REST and SOAP web services.
• Sound understanding of messaging systems and enterprise application integration.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Docker concepts.
• Demonstrated experience designing for availability, security, fault tolerance, and performance.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and working with distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven customer-facing experience.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading architectural or technical reviews.
• Good written and spoken English.
