Netcompany in Brussels is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end layers. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience and expertise in Java technologies including Spring Boot and Hibernate.

Java Full Stack Developer

So, what are the main responsibilities of a Java Full Stack Developer in Netcompany?

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications across front‑end and back‑end layers.
• Develop front‑end architectures, user interfaces, and user interactions using modern web technologies.
• Implement business logic, RESTful APIs, and server‑side components using Java‑based technologies.
• Design and optimize relational and non‑relational database solutions, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Apply secure development practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, logging, and monitoring.
• Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, issue resolution, and code validation activities.
• Deploy, manage, and support applications in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.
• Produce technical documentation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system components.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field and minimum 6 years of professional experience as a Full‑stack Software Engineer or in a similar software development role.
• Strong expertise in Java development, including Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API implementation.
• Solid knowledge of front‑end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks including Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non‑relational databases (MongoDB), including schema design and query optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure and deployment of cloud‑native applications.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of software security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure application development principles.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills in multicultural environments.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
