Nova Hunte Ltd in Brussels, Belgium is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience to join a long-term contract with a leading client. You will develop and maintain full stack applications, build REST APIs, and design efficient database schemas in PostgreSQL/Oracle, while deploying to cloud environments.

You will work with Angular/React/Vue, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and modern tools like Docker and Kubernetes, using Git workflows to collaborate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficient in Java with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Strong front-end skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS and frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs, relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD with Git workflows.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT.

Are you a Java Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience in full stack development? for a long-term contract opportunity with a leading client in Brussels, Belgium.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency in Java
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, Vue and Bootstrap
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and web services
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Knowledge of database schema design and query optimisation
• Experience with Git workflows such as GitFlow and trunk-based development
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments
• Experience designing, building and securing RESTful APIs and web services
• Knowledge of authentication and authorisation standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT
• (Desirable) Experience with Node.js and/or PHP
• (Desirable) Knowledge of modern build tools including Webpack and Vite
• (Desirable) Understanding of legacy systems using SVN
• (Desirable) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and Azure Bicep
• (Desirable) Knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger
