OneSource Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop and maintain both backend and frontend in an Agile/Scrum setting, contributing to the digitization of client services.

You will implement new features, fix bugs, write automated tests, review code, document releases, and work with REST APIs, microservices, Kafka, Git, CI/CD, Maven/Gradle, Docker and Kubernetes as part of a modern DevOps workflow.

Qualifications

• Back-end: Java (17+), Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Front-end: Modern front-end frameworks (preferably Angular).
• Architecture & Integration: REST APIs and microservices; Kafka/MQ is a plus.
• Tooling & DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Maven/Gradle, and Docker/Kubernetes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Java Full Stack Developer, you design, develop and maintain both the back-end and front-end of software applications. You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment and help with the further digitization of Client services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing new functionalities and fixing bugs.
• Writing automated tests and performing code reviews.
• Maintaining technical documentation and supporting software releases.

PROFILE & SKILLS

• Back-end: Good knowledge of Java (17+), Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Front-end: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (preferably Angular).
• Architecture & Integration: Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices. Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka/MQ) is a plus.
• Tooling & DevOps: Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Maven/Gradle, and basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
• Soft skills: Analytical, proactive, team-oriented and able to quickly pick up a new functional domain.
