HumanInTech is seeking a Java developer to join a Flemish public company focused on sustainable waste, materials and soil management. You will build Java-based applications using Spring Boot and REST APIs, work with SQL databases and TypeScript, and contribute to maintenance tasks.

The role requires at least 3 years' experience in Java, REST APIs, Spring Boot, and Dutch fluency at CEFR level C2. Hybrid work is possible; the assignment runs from early October 2026 to mid-July 2027 with ~1,520

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience developing Java-based applications.
• At least 3 years of experience implementing REST APIs.
• At least 3 years of experience with Spring Boot.
• Education with certification in programming languages such as Java/J2EE, or equivalent through experience.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with TypeScript.

Responsabilités

• Writing, testing and debugging code, working independently when needed (for maintenance tasks)
