ITproposal is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join healthcare-focused projects in Brussels. You will design, develop and maintain enterprise Java applications using Spring, REST services, and SOA principles, in a cross-functional Agile team.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE experience, with strong knowledge of Spring, REST, Angular, and database technologies. Hybrid work in Brussels, ASAP start, 7-month contract.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and J2EE.
• Good knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with SOAP and Swagger.
• Experience with Angular 2+.
• Knowledge of JSF and JBoss.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Docker and Git.
• Experience with JUnit / Unitils or comparable testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with TestLink is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and back-office integration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to apply best practices and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Dutch: Active knowledge
• English: Active knowledge

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications.
