Meerab Group in Brussels is seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong Angular skills to join our team on exciting digital transformation projects. You will work with analysts, testers, and other developers in an Agile environment to design features, build robust backend and frontend modules, and contribute to clean code, testing and smooth deployments.

You will participate in technical design, develop Java and Angular components, and help ensure high quality through unit/integration

Competenze

• Experience with Java (Java 8/JEE 7, Java 21) and Spring Boot.
• Strong Angular expertise including NgRx and modern front-end development.
• Hands-on with build tools and version control/CI‑CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and clean code practices.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and performing code reviews.

• Create unit and integration tests to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Refactor and improve existing code for readability, performance, and maintainability.
• Assist in preparation, validation, and delivery of deployments across environments.
• Adhere to Agile/SCRUM processes and service‑oriented architecture standards.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience developing with Java (Java 8/JEE 7, Java 21) and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Angular (including NgRx) and modern front‑end development.
• Hands‑on experience with build tools such as Apache Maven and version control/CI‑CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and clean code practices.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of databases like DB2 and MySQL, and migration tools such as Flyway.
• Experience with Nexus repository management.
