OPTIMUS IT SERVICES is seeking a Java Software Engineer in Belgium to design, develop and maintain scalable applications within an Agile squad. You will contribute to end-of-sprint product increments and collaborate across analysis, design, development, testing and deployment teams.

The role requires Java/Spring Boot, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud development experience, and strong IT architecture knowledge. English is mandatory; French is used day-to-day, Dutch is a plus.

Competenze

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in software development.
• Mandatory expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with experience in Docker, Kubernetes, microservices and cloud development.
• Excellent understanding of IT architecture, including hardware, operating systems, networking, databases and middleware.
• Knowledge of development methods, standards, security procedures and development tools.
• Mandatory knowledge of Agile methodology and the ability to collaborate within a Scrum team.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and squad objectives.
• English is mandatory in meetings and documentation.
• French is used for day-to-day communication in the workplace. Dutch is a nice-to-have.
