Synechron is seeking a Senior Application Developer to translate business needs into robust Java/J2EE applications. You will update code with unit tests, support testing, and craft proofs of concept for evaluating new technologies.

You will assist deployments and production planning within an agile team, with possible client interactions. The role emphasizes cloud and container proficiency (Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS/Azure), Spring stack, and strong SQL/Unix scripting skills, with Angular/React

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong knowledge of container and cloud technologies (Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on with Spring, Spring Integration, and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with RESTful services, MQ and WS-Security.
• Proficient in SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) and Unix/Linux scripting.
• UI experience with Angular and React.
• Experience with code quality tools (JUnit, Sonar) and Agile delivery.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Application Developer who will be responsible to understand business needs and update application code with unit testing, provide dev support during testing, creating proof of concept for new technology evaluation, support application deployment and creating production plan. They will be working on an agile team with a team lead. May have client interactions.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Newark DE is $100K - $105K/Year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Requirements:

• Strong Knowledge and expertise in container & cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS and Azure
• Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies with minimum of 7 year of experience.
• Should have good knowledge of technologies like Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL & Restful services, WS-Security,
• Hands on experience on tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace & Autosys etc
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Proficiency in writing complex Unix/Linux scripting
• Hands on experience in UI technologies like Angular and React
• Hands on experience on Code Quality Tools like JUnit, Sonar/Crucible
• Experience on modern development methodology including Agile
