Dataroots is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to source, evaluate, interview, close, and onboard candidates for the Strategy & Analytics team. You will build a strong network in the IT and business world and manage job openings with enthusiasm to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

You’ll split time between our Leuven headquarters and Ghent office, with flexibility to work from home on non-office days. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on IT recruitment experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Since 2016, Dataroots has grown from its two founders to over 160 employees. To continue this growth, we’re looking for a true Dataroots ambassador who can bring the right talent on board and help elevate our recruitment team to the next level.

As our newest Recruitment Specialist, you’ll be solely responsible for sourcing, evaluating, interviewing, closing, and onboarding candidates. In this role, you’ll recruit profiles such as Analytics Engineers, AI Strategists, Data Governance Experts,… for our Strategy & Analytics team.

To achieve this, you’ll build a strong network in the IT and business world through LinkedIn, events, job fairs, referrals, and other creative channels. You’ll also manage job openings with enthusiasm and precision, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience.

As a recruitment specialist at Dataroots, you’ll have a few dedicated office days in our Leuven headquarters. Whenever you’re not in Leuven, you can choose to work from home or from our Ghent office.

• With a solid background in IT recruitment and 3+ years of hands-on experience, you bring both expertise and vision to the team.
• Engaging and motivating IT talent is second nature, and you’re never afraid to get your hands dirty. Familiar with several ATS and recruitment channels, you know exactly how to put our vacancies in the spotlight.
• You understand how to approach different types of candidates and are able to both attract and evaluate them.
• You constantly monitor practices and are not afraid to suggest & implement improvements.
• Thriving in a fast-growing environment, you value flexibility and collaboration in equal measure.
• Holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree, you combine independence with strong ownership, proactive in your approach yet always keeping the team aligned and motivated.
• Fluency in Dutch and English are required for this role. French fluency is a major advantage.
