Elia Belgium, part of Elia Group, is seeking an IT Governance Manager to ensure IT operates within a controlled, compliant, and auditable framework in line with group policies. Based in Brussels with hybrid work options.

You will own and maintain governance across IT domains, lead governance boards, collaborate with cybersecurity and data teams, and support a governance roadmap including AI and security initiatives. Regular travel to Berlin is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in IT governance, risk, compliance or audit.
• Experience with governance forums and decision‑making processes.
• Fluent in English; Dutch/French/German a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own and maintain IT governance framework (policies, standards, processes).
• Ensure governance is applied across all IT teams in daily operations.
• Facilitate governance bodies like Architecture Review Board and change Advisory Board.
• Guide application approvals and changes (deployments, updates).
• Monitor governance usage and identify gaps, deviations or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, data, and engineering on risk and compliance topics.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external IT governance audits.
• Track action plans and ensure issues are followed up and resolved.
• Help build and evolve a governance roadmap (AI, security, platforms, applications).
• Support teams to make governance clear, efficient, and easy to apply.
