Church International Limited in Brussels, Belgium is seeking an experienced Senior IT Functional Analyst to join an Agile team on a freelance contract from November 2026 to 31 December 2026 with potential extension. You will bridge business stakeholders, analysts, architects and tech teams, translating needs into functional specs and supporting solutions through design, development, testing and production.

Fluency in English and either French or Dutch is required.

• 8+ years of IT functional analysis experience.

IT Functional Analyst

Brussels, Belgium Hybrid – 50% onsite / 50% remote

Freelance Contract - November 2026- 31 December 2026 (likely extension)

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Functional Analyst to join an Agile Team in Brussels.

You will act as the link between business stakeholders, business analysts, architects and technical teams, translating business needs into detailed functional requirements and supporting solutions through design, development, testing and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and propose effective IT solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and strategy.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, product owners and technical teams.
• Define application impacts and functional responsibilities across IT assets.
• Support development, integration, testing and defect resolution.
• Provide functional and technical support during release and deployment.
• Analyse production incidents and coordinate their resolution.
• Maintain functional and technical documentation.
• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum sprints and contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential Experience

• 8+ years of relevant IT Functional Analyst experience.
• Experience with KYC (Know Your Customer) - Mandatory
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of IT systems
• Strong understanding of analysis methodologies and enterprise standards.
• Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
