Sogeti Belgium, part of the Capgemini Group, is seeking an IT Functional Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams. You will translate requirements into functional specs and ensure systems deliver value.

You will gather requirements, document processes, and collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle. Training and UX documentation are part of the role.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an IT Functional Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for IT solutions. Your role ensures that systems and applications meet business needs and deliver value.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and process analysis.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure alignment with technical teams.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support solution design and validate that delivered functionality meets requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users and create documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

YOUR PROFILE

Must-haves:

• You speak fluently Dutch and English
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roles
• Ability to create clear functional specifications, process documentation and familiarity with SQL, basic data analysis and experience with ERP systems, CRM, or other enterprise applications;
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
