Job summary

Victaulic Company in Belgium seeks a Materials Assistant to optimize inventory, support forecasting, and collaborate across Supply Chain. You will coordinate ERP-driven processes, generate weekly and monthly inventory reports, and drive improvements in FG and component stock levels.

English required, travel occasionally. The role emphasizes cross-functional planning with product and sales teams, adherence to inventory policies, and participation in global inventory reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
• Advanced forecasting and budgeting knowledge.
• Willing to make infrequent overnight travel.
• Language skills: English required; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Oversee planning and coordination of the company's inventory.
• Prepare reports for the monthly Global Inventory Meetings.
• Participate in the monthly Global inventory meetings.
• Collaborate with product and sales management to plan forecasting models.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management on delivery and inventory strategies.
• Create and follow up on Inventory add requests.
• Analyze and optimize FG and Component inventory levels.
• Prepare and review Kanban calculations for all branches.
• Review weekly OTDI reports and propose actions.
• Daily review of Branch Stock Out reports.
• Ensure standard practices and procedures in materials functions.
• Develop and implement inventory policies, procedures and processes.
