In this role, you will work closely with operational teams as well as the second and third lines of defense to help identify risks, improve controls, and drive continuous enhancement across key operational processes.

Your position

As an Operational Control Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing, maintaining, and driving operational controls within an appropriate risk framework. Your mission will be to help ensure the reliability, consistency, and efficiency of operational process flows, while contributing to a stronger risk culture and an improved client experience.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Collecting and structuring risks, controls, and incidents in a consistent and reliable way.
• Analyzing data in collaboration with operational team leaders to identify root causes and define targeted action plans.
• Supporting the implementation of action plans, operational projects, and process improvements aligned with the Target Operating Model and the Bank’s risk expectations.
• Contributing to the alignment of processes, particularly from a risk framework perspective.
• Driving controls within Operations, monitoring deadlines and follow-up actions, and reporting appropriately to Management and to the second and third lines of defense, including Risk Management, Compliance, and Audit.
• Acting as a facilitator for operational teams by promoting a strong risk culture through continuous improvement initiatives, efficiency-enhancing solutions and risk indicators.

This role sits at the heart of Operations and requires close interaction with stakeholders across the department and beyond, depending on the subject at hand.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with the following background and competencies:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of several operational banking domains.
• Solid understanding of the banking environment and regulatory framework.
• Strong command of MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Proven project and change management skills.
• Strong risk awareness, with exposure to operational risk tools and methodology.
• Fluent in French and English, which are both required.
