Zusammenfassung

Degroof Petercam invites you to join its Operations service within the COO department as an internship candidate. You will handle the booking and processing of cash and payments, and support post-trade processing of instruments such as equities and bonds, while learning to treat corporate actions on client accounts and tax reporting.

You will also assist in onboarding and lifecycle management of clients, gaining hands-on experience in a bank setting with strong teamwork and independent work

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with very good English.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Able to work independently but also in a team.

Aufgaben

• Booking and processing of cash & payments transactions.
• Booking and post-trade processing of transactions in financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives, funds…).
• Operational treatment of corporate actions (dividend, stock split…) on client accounts.
• Control and reporting on local and international tax matters (withholding tax, tax on stock exchange transactions, FATCA, CRS…).
• Operational treatment of client onboarding and lifecycle (opening & closing of accounts, account modifications…).

The Operations service is part of the COO department and supports the business lines of Degroof Petercam with operational services related to Banking Operations and Client Administration.

Your position

• booking and processing of cash & payments transactions

• operational treatment of corporate actions (dividend, stock split…) on the accounts of our clients

Your profile

• You are currently pursuing (or you already have) a Bachelor or a Master degree
• You have strong analytical and numerical skills
• You are passionate about the financial industry and banking operations
• You are results-driven with a hands-on approach
• You are able to work independently but you also enjoy working in a team settingYour mother tongue is French or Dutch with a very good level of EnglishYou are proficient in MS office (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
