Barco designs technology that makes everyday life a little better. In the Control Room division, we are looking for an intern to explore and implement agentic AI solutions to improve documentation quality and delivery predictability.

You will join a product‑oriented team within Barco Control Room, working on innovative use cases with direct business impact. You will be guided by a clear direction while having the autonomy to explore and propose solutions.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Kortrijk, Belgium.
• Available for a minimum of 3 months.
• Student in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Good programming skills (Python preferred).
• Good understanding of AI agent concepts and LLMs.
• Familiarity with APIs and system integration.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must.
• Previous hands-on experience with AI projects (academic or internship).
• Experience with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API) (Nice to have).
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence (Nice to have).

Responsabilités

• Conducting an initial needs analysis to identify required tools, technologies, and hardware.
• Designing and implementing AI agents interacting with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Improving product documentation consistency and alignment with implemented features.
• Supporting estimation and execution predictability by leveraging historical knowledge and data.
• Challenging and refining existing estimations using AI-driven insights.
• Designing solutions with scalability in mind, enabling reuse across other use cases.

Within the Control Room division, we are looking for an intern to explore and implement agentic AI solutions to improve documentation quality and delivery predictability.

The Task at Hand

You will work on applying agentic AI concepts in a real product environment.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Conducting an initial needs analysis to identify required tools, technologies, and hardware
• Designing and implementing AI agents interacting with tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Improving product documentation consistency and alignment with implemented features
• Supporting estimation and execution predictability by leveraging historical knowledge and data
• Challenging and refining existing estimations using AI-driven insights
• Designing solutions with scalability in mind, enabling reuse across other use cases (not mandatory, but highly appreciated)

This internship provides hands‑on experience with applied AI, product integration, and real‑world engineering challenges.
