Bosch Group is seeking an intern for the AI Lighthouse team in Tienen, Belgium. The role involves supporting projects in digitalization, data engineering, and manufacturing processes. Interns will be mentored by experienced data professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Candidates should have ongoing studies in Engineering or Data Science and a strong interest in AI-driven solutions. Proficiency in PowerBI and good communication skills are essential.

This internship lasts 6 months, with a start date to be defined, and is conducted in English.

As an intern within the AI Lighthouse, you will support ongoing projects at the intersection of data engineering, digitalization, and manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Support project management activities within AI and digitalization projects.
• Contribute to process streamlining and optimization initiatives.
• Act as a contact point for data-related topics across stakeholders.
• Interface with manufacturing teams to align data solutions with operational needs.
• Support data engineering activities, including data structuring and flow development.
• Contribute to the development of mainstream data flows and engineering processes.

Education: Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT, Business Engineering, or a related field

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong interest in digitalization, data engineering, and AI-driven solutions.
• Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts is an asset.
• Interest in value streams or manufacturing processes is a plus.
• You are proactive, structured, and have solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and openness to new ideas and technologies.
• You have knowledge of PowerBI semantic model and report development.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
