Barco is offering an internship in the Control Room division focused on agentic AI to improve documentation quality and delivery predictability. You will design AI agents that interact with Jira and Confluence, analyze needs, and contribute to scalable, reusable solutions in a real product environment.

You will gain hands-on experience with applied AI, product integration, and engineering challenges, guided by a clear direction while having autonomy to propose solutions.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Kortrijk, Belgium.
• Available for a minimum of 3 months.
• Student in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Good understanding of AI agent concepts and LLMs.
• Familiarity with APIs and system integration.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must.
• Previous hands-on experience with AI projects (academic or internship).
• Experience with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API) (Nice to have).
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence (Nice to have).

Responsabilités

• Conducting an initial needs analysis to identify required tools, technologies, and hardware.
• Designing and implementing AI agents interacting with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Improving product documentation consistency and alignment with implemented features.
• Supporting estimation and execution predictability by leveraging historical knowledge and data.
• Challenging and refining existing estimations using AI-driven insights.
• Designing solutions with scalability in mind, enabling reuse across other use cases.
