DG MENA invites applications for an Internal Control Assistant/Internal Audit Assistant to support its newly established unit. You will contribute to implementing internal control and risk assessment systems, monitor procedures, coordinate ECA audits, and help prepare replies to reports under supervision.

The role requires a proactive, autonomous team player with 3+ years in audit/control, strong English and French, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs in a dynamic EU environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in the domain of Audit, Control and Inspection.
• At least 1 year in the domain of Audit, Control and Inspection with EC exposure is an advantage.
• High stress resistance and perseverance; proactive, autonomous and able to share knowledge within a team.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the implementation of internal control and risk assessment systems.
• Monitor internal control procedures via internal control monitoring criteria.
• Coordinate European Court of Auditors (ECA) audits within the DG and follow up on recommendations.
• Prepare replies to ECA reports and ensure quality control of the replies.
