Rivean Capital is offering an Internship in Brussels for a duration of 3 to 6 months. As an intern, you will collaborate with the team on due diligence, valuation, and portfolio monitoring among other responsibilities. We are seeking a candidate with a strong academic background in Business Engineering or related fields, analytical skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

The position offers a market-conform remuneration and the possibility of a full-time job afterward. Ideal for a self-starter passionate about finance.

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic track record in relevant fields.
• Previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting is recommended.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsabilités

• Conduct due diligence on new investment opportunities.

• Monitor portfolio companies and help with value creation.

What you can expect

As an intern, you will be an integral member of our Brussels-based team and have the opportunity to collaborate on:

• Due diligence of new investment opportunities
• Modeling, valuation and structuring of investments
• Portfolio company monitoring, value creation and bolt-on M&A
• Lead identification and related market and industry research

Who we are looking for

• Curious, passionate about business and finance, eager to make a difference and create impact
• Outstanding academic track record; university education in Business Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any other economic / management studies
• Prior experience in Investment banking, Private Equity, Consulting is recommended
• Excellent analytical skills, combining a strategic mindset with attention to detail
• Strong foundation in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• A self-starter with a hands‑on mentality
• Able to work independently and under time pressure
• Solid team player with good communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French beneficial
