Rivean Capital invites applications for an internship in its Brussels office. You will be integrated into our Brussels-based team, contributing to due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio monitoring on live mid-market opportunities.

The ideal candidate has an outstanding academic record in business/management studies, with a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and a hands-on, self-starting attitude.

Qualifications

• Curious and passionate about business and finance.
• Outstanding academic track record with university studies in business or related fields.
• Prior experience in Investment banking, Private Equity, or Consulting is recommended.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
• Solid teamwork and communication skills; able to work independently under time pressure.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

• Perform due diligence of new investment opportunities.
• Model, value, and structure investments.
• Monitor portfolio companies and identify value creation opportunities including bolt-on M&A.
• Lead identification and conduct market and industry research.

What you can expect

As an intern, you will be an integral member of our Brussels-based team and have the opportunity to collaborate on:

• Due diligence of new investment opportunities
• Modeling, valuation and structuring of investments
• Portfolio company monitoring, value creation and bolt-on M&A
• Lead identification and related market and industry research

Who we are looking for

• Curious, passionate about business and finance, eager to make a difference and create impact
• Outstanding academic track record; university education in Business Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any other economic / management studies
• Prior experience in Investment banking, Private Equity, Consulting is recommended
• Excellent analytical skills, combining a strategic mindset with attention to detail
• Strong foundation in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• A self-starter with a hands‑on mentality
• Able to work independently and under time pressure
• Solid team player with good communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French beneficial
