Job summary

Jones Engineering, a long-established engineering contractor, seeks an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our delivery team on a major Data Centre project in Belgium. You will support the Construction Team and the Senior QS in day-to-day commercial duties.

You will track costs and hours for labour hire subcontractors and prelim staff, assist with progress applications, maintain commercial registers, and help prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying within construction projects.
• Experience on large DC projects is a plus.
• Able to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong IT and cost-tracking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Team and Senior QS on QS functions.
• Track costs and hours of Labour Hire Subcontractors.
• Track costs and hours of Subcontracted Prelim Staff.
• Assist the Senior QS with Commercial Reports.
• Maintain Commercial Registers.
• Manage Sub-contractor accounts from award to final accounts.
• Assist with monthly progress applications.
• Perform other related duties.
