BDO Belgium is seeking a Head of Insurance Transformation to lead and expand our transformation services for the insurance sector. You will shape the offering, guide large change programs from strategy to implementation, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.

You will build and coach a team of consultants, collaborate with Technology, Strategy, Risk and Finance, and drive new business development to position BDO as a reference player in insurance.

Qualifications

• Have at least 10 years of experience in programme management or consulting in the insurance industry.
• Led complex, multi-stakeholder change initiatives.
• Understand the operational and regulatory environment of insurers (Solvency II, CSRD, distribution, claims, product lifecycle…).
• Are comfortable with both strategy definition and hands-on implementation.
• Combine client-facing leadership with team coaching and people development.
• Are fluent in Dutch or French (ideally both), and have an excellent command of English.
• Are entrepreneurial, structured and excited to build something with impact.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead a transformation offering tailored to insurers (life, non-life, health, reinsurance).
• Manage large-scale change programmes from strategy to implementation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders (COO, CFO, Head of Change, etc.).
• Collaborate with other practices (Technology, Strategy, Risk, Finance) for integrated delivery.
• Coach and grow a team of consultants and subject matter experts.
• Drive business development and help position BDO as a reference player in the insurance industry.
