International Insurance Group in Belgium is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance department, act as a business partner to management, and drive financial policy and growth in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

You will coach a finance team, oversee closings, manage budgets and forecasts, and provide strategic financial insights. The role requires an insurance background, strong leadership, and fluency in Dutch and French.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance.
• Experience at an insurance company or in another insurance environment with financial/regulatory complexity.
• Experience with financial reporting, controlling, budgeting, and audit processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• People management with a coaching leadership style.
• Excellent professional proficiency in both Dutch and French.

Responsabilités

• Coach, lead, and develop a finance team.
• Oversee and ensure the completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Be responsible for budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Provide management with clear financial insights and recommendations.
• Further optimize financial processes, reporting, and internal controls.
• Serve as the point of contact for auditors, tax partners, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and industry-specific regulations.
• Actively contribute to strategic projects and the continued growth of the organization.
