Job summary

Unknown is seeking an instructional designer to design courses end to end with subject matter experts across nations and partner organisations. You will define objectives, structure, and assessments to ensure content flows and meets learning goals.

You will work on instructional content with storyboard-based design, select strategies for diverse learners, and evaluate impact while providing QA and facilitation for a range of instructor-led and online formats. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Degree in education and training development or related programme.
• At least three years within the last five in eLearning development.
• Experience communicating with clients and subject matter experts.
• Hands-on use of authoring tools to build standards-compliant content.
• Experience developing content inside Moodle LMS.
• Portfolio covering at least three eLearning projects with storyboards.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse learning needs with subject matter experts across nations.
• Define clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with courses.
• Design course structure: modules, lessons, assessments for flow.
• Develop instructional content from source material using storyboard design.
• Choose instructional strategies for different learning styles.
• Design pre-, formative and summative assessments to gauge progress.
• Run evaluations to measure course impact and feed revisions.
• Provide instructional design assistance and QA to other providers.
• Prepare, facilitate and evaluate instructor-led, virtual and in-person activities.
• Research emerging learning technologies and recommend adoption.
