WLG seeks an experienced instructional designer to design end-to-end courses for a multinational defence organisation. You will collaborate with SMEs to analyse needs, define objectives and structure modules, lessons and assessments.

You will develop content from source material using storyboard techniques, select methods for different learning styles and conduct comprehensive evaluations to drive improvements. This is a long-term engagement with visa-supported relocation to Norfolk, USA.

Formación

• Degree in education and training development or related field.
• At least three years in eLearning development within five years.
• Experience communicating with clients and SMEs through the design process.
• Hands-on use of current authoring tools to build standards-compliant content.
• Portfolio with at least three eLearning projects and storyboards.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse learning needs with SMEs and partner organisations.
• Define clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with the course.
• Design course structure: modules, lessons, assessments, flow.
• Develop instructional content from source material using storyboard design.
• Choose instructional strategies for different learning styles.
• Design pre-, formative and summative assessments to gauge progress.
• Run evaluations and feedback to inform revisions.
• Provide instructional design assistance and QA to others.
• Prepare, facilitate and evaluate instructor-led, virtual and in-person activities.
• Research emerging learning technologies and recommend adoption.
