OMP Belgium is seeking an Instructional Designer to lead creation of learning experiences, collaborating with subject-matter experts to design engaging, effective training. You will manage end-to-end development, support recording of training videos, advise on formats, and contribute e-learnings in the authoring tool.

The role is 70% design work and 30% administration, including onboarding follow-up, learning path maintenance, and alignment of onboarding plans; part of the Training Services team

Qualifications

• Needs analysis to identify learning objectives and audience.

• Create training materials following instructional design and LMS guidelines.
• Lead end-to-end training creation or conversion, focusing on e-learning.
• Coordinate training subscriptions and logistics for sessions and participants.
• Maintain training schedule and materials in the LMS (PeopleFluent).

As anInstructionalDesigner,you’llcollaborate with experts, trainers,and other stakeholders within the company to create effective, efficient,and engaginglearning experiences.Thismeanstaking the lead in the creation process as well asbeingpartofthe creation and development of training material (e.g.support the recording of training videos,give advice on formats, createe-learnings inanauthoring tool)

This role, with its strong focus on instructional design, will account for approximately 70% of your time, complemented by 30% dedicated to training administration and coordination activities to support the Operations team.Administration will focus mostly on onboarding follow up, learning path maintenance and coordinationof global alignment on onboarding plans.

You are responsible for:

• Conducting a needs analysis toidentifylearningobjectivesand target audience characteristicsfor a specifictraining request.
• Gathering information and insights from experts, trainers,and other stakeholderstosupport the development ofa training.
• Creatingtraining materials, bringing effective, engaging, and efficient learning experiences, according to the instructional design principles, learning theories, and OMP guidelines.
• Taking the lead from start to finish in multiple training creation or conversion tracks with the focus on e-learning.
• Processingtrainingsubscriptions and coordinatingtraining logistics, includingmanagingparticipant lists,teacher planning, room bookings, and overall session organization.
• Maintaining and updating the training schedule and materials in the LMS (PeopleFluent), ensuring a accuracy and timely adjustments.
• Collaborating internally andwithother teams on new hire forecasting, onboarding timelines, and learning path alignment.
