OMP, a leader in supply-chain optimization, seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to collaborate with experts and stakeholders to craft engaging learning experiences. You will lead the end-to-end creation of training materials, including e-learning, and support onboarding and global alignment on training plans.

You will contribute 70% of your time to instructional design and 30% to training administration and coordination, with a strong emphasis on utilizing instructional design principles

Qualifications

  • A degree in educational sciences, pedagogy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related role where you collaborated with multiple parties and alignment was key.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with using AI for learning creation, e.g. prompting agents and/or working with multi-agent systems
  • Creative thinking and problem solving-abilities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • A strong affinity for IT as most of the trainings we offer are quite technical.
  • The ability to acquire technical and supply chain knowledge quickly.
  • A team player who is also able to work accurately and autonomously.

Responsabilités

  • Collaborate with experts, trainers and stakeholders to create effective, efficient, and engaging learning experiences.
  • Take the lead in the creation process and development of training material (e.g. support recording of training videos, advise on formats, create e-learnings).
  • Support onboarding follow up, learning path maintenance and coordination of onboarding plans.
  • Conduct a needs analysis to identify learning objectives and audience characteristics for training requests.
  • Gather information and insights from experts, trainers, and stakeholders to support training development.
  • Maintain and update the training schedule and materials in the LMS (PeopleFluent).
  • Coordinate training logistics including participant lists, teacher planning, room bookings, and session organization.

Your challenge

As an Instructional Designer, you’ll collaborate with experts, trainers, and other stakeholders within the company to create effective, efficient, and engaging learning experiences. This means taking the lead in the creation process as well as being part of the creation and development of training material (e.g. support the recording of training videos, give advice on formats, create e-learnings in an authoring tool)

This role, with its strong focus on instructional design, will account for approximately 70% of your time, complemented by 30% dedicated to training administration and coordination activities to support the Operations team. Administration will focus mostly on onboarding follow up, learning path maintenance and coordination of global alignment on onboarding plans.

You Are Responsible For
  • Conducting a needs analysis to identify learning objectives and target audience characteristics for a specific training request.
  • Gathering information and insights from experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to support the development of a training.
  • Creating training materials, bringing effective, engaging, and efficient learning experiences, according to the instructional design principles, learning theories, and OMP guidelines.
  • Taking the lead from start to finish in multiple training creation or conversion tracks with the focus on e-learning.
  • Processing trainingsubscriptionsand coordinating traininglogistics, includingmanagingparticipant lists,teacher planning, room bookings, and overall session organization.
  • Maintaining and updating the training schedule and materials in the LMS (PeopleFluent), ensuring accuracy andtimelyadjustments.
  • Collaboratinginternally andwithother teamson new hire forecasting, onboarding timelines, and learning path alignment.
Your team

As our new Instructional Designer, you’ll be part of the Training Services team which, in turn, fits into the bigger picture of the Learning Services team.

About You

  • Experience with e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline & Rise) and learning management systems.
  • Expert level knowledge of PowerPoint.
