Job summary

• Minimum 8 years' experience in Project Management roles.
• At least 5 years delivering large-scale IT Infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record within complex global enterprise environments.
• Strong experience delivering infrastructure migration, deployment, and transformation programmes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
• Previous experience working within regulated industries is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a portfolio of 3-5 concurrent infrastructure projects across multiple countries.
• Ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead governance activities, including steering committees and executive reporting.
• Coordinate internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
• Drive infrastructure migration, transformation, and deployment initiatives.
• Manage project financials including forecasting, budgeting, and CAPEX/OPEX.
• Communicate progress and key decisions to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of strategic IT infrastructure projects across the EMEA region for a leading global life sciences organisation. This role requires a strong blend of infrastructure expertise, project delivery experience, and stakeholder management skills, with responsibility for driving complex initiatives from planning through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 3-5 concurrent infrastructure projects across multiple countries and business units.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead project governance activities, including steering committees and executive reporting.
• Coordinate internal technical teams, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and external partners.
• Drive infrastructure migration, transformation, and deployment initiatives.
• Manage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and CAPEX/OPEX tracking.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Communicate project progress and key decisions to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Projects are focused on enterprise infrastructure and may include:

• Data centre and server room implementations
• Network infrastructure upgrades and structured cabling projects
• Server, storage, and virtualisation platforms
• End-user workplace and Windows environment transformations
• Infrastructure migration and consolidation programmes
• Global infrastructure standardisation and strategy initiatives

Required Experience

• Minimum 8 years' experience in Project Management roles.
• At least 5 years delivering large-scale IT Infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record within complex global enterprise environments.
• Strong experience delivering infrastructure migration, deployment, and transformation programmes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.

Required Skills

• Strong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Knowledge of networking, servers, virtualisation, workplace technologies, and datacentre environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, including CAPEX and OPEX management.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.

Certifications

• PMP and/or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
• ITIL Foundation
• Agile and/or SAFe certification
• Infrastructure certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or equivalent

Industry Experience

Experience within one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:

Languages

• French language skills are advantageous
