CareerBee seeks a Systems/NPI Engineer to lead the transfer of advanced infrared camera systems from R&D into manufacturing. You will own product readiness, coordinate with electronics, optics and mechanics teams, and ensure production documentation is complete for successful first builds.
You will work across R&D, Testing, Quality and Manufacturing to validate readiness and close remaining gaps, enabling smooth transition to pilot and serial production.
Competenze
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
- At least four years in systems engineering, product engineering, NPI, or production transfer.
- Experience moving a product from development/prototype to pilot/serial production.
- Experience with hardware and software/firmware in complex systems.
- Strong system-level understanding and ability to investigate failures.
- Fluent English and strong communication skills.
Mansioni
- Own the technical transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing.
- Define and monitor release criteria with R&D, Testing, Quality and Manufacturing.
- Ensure complete, consistent documentation for production use.
- Review BOMs, drawings, test specs, and release documentation.
- Support pilot and first-production builds.
- Develop understanding of the full camera system (electronics, firmware, optics, mechanics).
- Investigate system-level failures and manufacturing issues through testing, measurements, and root-cause analysis.
- Act as the bridge between R&D in Leuven and Manufacturing in Tienen.
