Job summary

IMI Climate Control is seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer for industrial applications in Walloon Brabant. The role focuses on developing firmware for embedded devices, integrating IoT protocols, and supporting hydronic heating and cooling systems.

You will participate in task breakdown, technical analysis, and effort estimation, while drafting test plans and ensuring robust non-regression testing. The team operates in a hybrid environment with collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of embedded development experience.
• Good knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and KNX is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; fluent in English, French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for embedded systems in industrial applications.
• Analyze requirements, break into tasks, and estimate development work.
• Write test plans and perform unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Document implementations and share knowledge with the team.
• Keep up-to-date with technologies and propose innovative evolutions.
