Job summary

Robert Half seeks an Implementation & Operations Expert in Antwerp to oversee onboarding, implementation and service delivery of payroll-related solutions. You will coordinate with internal teams, external partners and suppliers to ensure timely payments and operational excellence.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/admin/economics or related field.
• At least five years in implementation, operations, service delivery, project coordination or process improvement.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple activities and stakeholders.
• Experience with internal/external stakeholders; acts as a key contact.
• Solution-oriented mindset with analytical focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Affinity with payroll, payments, financial services, or fintech is a strong asset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; builds effective stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational collaboration with internal teams, external partners and service providers to ensure smooth payment service delivery.
• Lead onboarding of new clients and partners through full implementation journey into operations.
• Manage contracting, implementation and service delivery processes for payroll-related solutions, ensuring timelines and compliance.
• Monitor milestones, risks and issues; safeguard service continuity and delivery.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of salary, employee and authority payments.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization for scalable operations.
• Monitor SLAs, service quality and customer satisfaction; drive continuous improvement.
• Act as escalation point for operational challenges and coordinate solutions with stakeholders.
• Prepare and follow up on operational reports, KPIs and management information.

The scope of responsibilities for this job as Implementation & Operations Expert (M/V/X) include:

• You coordinate the day-to-day operational collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and service providers to ensure smooth and efficient payment service delivery.
• You take ownership of the onboarding of new clients and partners, guiding them through the full implementation journey and ensuring a seamless transition into operations.
• You manage contracting, implementation, and service delivery processes related to work-related payment solutions while ensuring timelines, requirements, and compliance obligations are met.
• You monitor operational performance by tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, and you take proactive action to safeguard service continuity and successful delivery.
• You ensure the accurate and timely execution of salary payments, employee payments, authority payments, and other employer-related payment flows with a strong focus on quality and operational excellence.
• You identify opportunities for process optimization and operational standardization and translate these into scalable and efficient ways of working.
• You monitor service level agreements, service quality, and customer satisfaction, using performance data and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• You act as the escalation point for operational challenges and coordinate solutions with internal stakeholders, service providers, and external partners to minimize business impact.
• You prepare, analyze, and follow up on operational reports, KPIs, and management information to support decision-making and performance management.
• You build strong relationships across Sales, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Finance, as well as with external partners, to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
• You support the further development and growth of the service offering by contributing operational expertise, implementation best practices, and customer-focused improvements.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, Applied Economics, Business Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or you have built equivalent expertise through experience.
• You have at least five years of relevant experience in implementation, operations, service delivery, project coordination, and/or process improvement.
• You have strong organizational and coordination skills, and you can manage multiple activities and stakeholders at the same time.
• You have experience working with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and suppliers, and you are comfortable acting as a key point of contact.
• You work in a proactive and structured way and are known for your solution-oriented mindset.
• You combine strong analytical skills with a clear focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• You have an affinity with payroll, payments, financial services, or fintech, which is considered a strong asset.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, and you build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
